Frank was born and raised in The Netherlands and immigrated to the United States in 1990 after earning a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Frank became a US citizen in 2004 and considers that one of his proudest moments. Having lived in a country where it is nearly impossible for law abiding citizens to own and carry firearms, Frank is a strong proponent and defender of our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. As a USCCA Certified Instructor, NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, and NRA Range Safety Officer, Frank has helped many novice and experienced shooters improve their shooting technique and firearm safety awareness. Frank is an alumni of Rob Pincus’ Intuitive Defense Shooting Program and participates in competitive shooting matches such as NRA High Power Rifle and Pistol Bullseye Shooting Leagues. Frank is also the proud father of two adult sons. He and his wife have been residents of Brookfield for 30 years.
Denise G.
Denise joined the United States Air Force Security Forces Reserves in 1989 and shortly after was activated for Desert Storm. Immediately follow 9/11 she was activated again and did one tour in the desert. In 2007, she retired from the military. She received countless awards and medals during her service.
In May 1992, she joined the Milwaukee Police Department, with work assignments being Districts 3, 5, Gangs, Jail and ending her career working at the Police Academy. While at the Police Academy, her primary job was teaching Firearms to Police Officers and Recruits. She also taught Drug Identification, Tactical Anatomy, Citizen Academy, Emergency Vehicle Operation and Control, Firearms Low Light training, Instructor Development, Bulletproof Mind, Officer Involved Shooter Debrief, PTSD for Police and Military, Relationship Management, Professional Communications and Vehicle Contacts. She also was in charge of all firearms inventory control for the department. She received awards for meritorious service awards five times during her career and retired in 2017.
She left to raise two children and when her children went to school full time, she joined the Wisconsin Firearms Training Center in December 2019. She has been married to her husband since 2007.
Scott A.
Scott is from Alabama where, following graduation from Auburn University, he served in the Birmingham Police Department's West Precinct. Scott was a certified PPCT (Pressure Point Control Tactics) combat instructor and trained interrogator among other things. Scott left Birmingham, moved to Wisconsin and spent a brief time in the Wisconsin Army National Guard where he qualified expert with multiple platforms. Scott also has enjoyed various martial arts including jiu-jitsu and karate. He has spent several decades studying historical European martial arts, winning a "Society of the Middle Ages" National Championship in 2022. Scott has multiple firearms instructor certifications from the NRA and USCCA. His certifications range from handguns, to mass casualty incident response, to the AR-15. Scott is also an avid gardener and loves dogs.

He has earned numerous awards and decorations, including the Meritorious Service Medal. He has served in various key military assignments, demonstrating leadership and expertise that made him a perfect addition to our team. Returning from a multi-year tour overseas - already being a certified instructor in the Army - he began pursuing instructor certifications to train in the civilian sector. He holds certifications as a Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Instructor, AR-15 Instructor, and Range Safety Officer (RSO). Mike’s educational background also includes two college degrees. Additionally, he has completed various leadership and development courses, in both the military and civilian sectors, showcasing his continuous pursuit of excellence. Wisconsin Firearms Training Center is honored to have Mike on board, contributing his expertise and dedication to ensure the highest standards of firearm training and safety continue to be met at our facility.”
