FAQs

Do I have to be a member to shoot at WFTC?

No, membership is not required. Our ranges are open to the public.

Do you allow new shooters at WFTC?

Yes! We encourage people who have never shot before to come to our range. We’ll help you to develop a strong foundation built on safety and proper firearm handling.

What do I need to bring in order to shoot at WFTC?

You need a valid government issued photo ID or passport written in English. Minors must be accompanied by someone over the age of 21 with a valid photo ID.

What services do you provide for new shooters?

We have Range Safety Officers (RSO) on the range at all times to offer on-the-spot safety assistance while you are on the range. We want you to be comfortable and have a safe and pleasant experience on our range. We can schedule one-on-one private instruction with a certified instructor who will provide in depth classroom and range instruction. And, we also offer both handgun and long gun fundamentals classes on a regular basis.

Can I bring my kids to shoot?

Yes. We encourage parents to bring their children to the range if they have expressed an interest in shooting. Introducing your kids to shooting at WFTC will build a foundation based on safety and respect for firearms. Generally, we suggest that children are a least 10 years old before we introduce them to the shooting sports.
