RIFLE FUNDAMENTALS
Have you been looking for a shooting-heavy course: Here it is! This course will help you develop a fundamental understanding of how-to setup, care for, and operate with your semi-automatic rifle. You will first learn how to safely and efficiently setup your rifle with practical accessories and optics followed by a course of fire designed to bolster your experience and confidence with your rifle. By the end of the course, you will… -Feel more comfortable safely handling your rifle -Feel more effective with your rifle -Feel more efficient with your rifle You will walk away from this course with more confidence in yourself while using your rifle. REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Semi-automatic rifle (magazine fed): Ex: AR-15, AR-10, AK-style, etc. Minimum of 3 magazines with ways to store them on your person (Magazine holders or pockets) Required Accessories: Sighting device (Iron sights or optic), Sling 200 rounds minimum Eye & ear protection Ammunition: 200-300 rounds of ammunition for your carbine Optional/Recommended Equipment: Not required but can enhance your experience Extra magazines Billed hat, gloves, comfortable shoes Battle Belt with magazine holders Chest rig with magazine holders Cleaning Kit (We won’t clean firearms but we can discuss what items are helpful or not) WFTC does not permit use of steel core, steel jacketed, or bi-metal jacketed ammunition on the range.
