·         Techniques such as:

·         Slicing the Pie/Peeking: A technique used to observe a room from the doorway at an angle, minimizing exposure while gaining information about the space. 

·         Dynamic Entry: A fast, aggressive entry into the room to overwhelm potential threats. 

·         Two-Man/Multi-Man Clearing: Teams coordinate to clear sectors of the room, with each member responsible for a specific area. 

·         Stacking: Team members position themselves in close proximity to one another at the doorway before entry, ensuring immediate support and coverage. 

·         Communication: Clear and concise communication between team members is crucial for coordinating movements and identifying threats.

Semi-Automatic handgun and at least one spare magazine (two preferred)

    or

Double Action revolver and at least one speed loader or speed strip (two preferred)

Strong-side rigid hip belt mounted Outside the Waist Band holster

Weak side magazine or speed loader holder (Speed strip can be in pocket)

Eye protection

Billed cap recommended
