MSR DEFENSIVE SKILLS, LEVEL 2

This is the next level training for those that have taken BASIC MSR DEFENSIVE SKILLS or RIFLE FUNDAMENTALS. This 6 hour training will further enhance your defensive MSR skills while decisively engaging targets using your modern sporting rifle in close-quarter settings. You`ll encounter threat-no-threat scenarios and exercise decision-making skills needed to use the AR rifle for personal and home defense. This level 2 MSR course will build upon the Level 1 course by adding tasks like advanced weapon manipulation techniques, shooting on the move, stress shooting, ammunition management, positional shooting, intuitive shooting, and shooting around barriers.

You`ll continue to build safe handling skills, accuracy, and confidence while learning safe loading and unloading procedures, ammunition selection and management, defensive marksmanship, spare magazine carry, use of cover and concealment, reloading, and malfunction management. 

Prerequisite: WFTC’s Rifle Fundamentals, WFTC’s Basic MSR Defensive Skills or significant familiarity with safely loading, unloading, and shooting the rifle with defensive accuracy. This is a fast-paced course that includes movement and level changes.

Required Modern Sporting Rifle Equipment
:	Semi-Automatic, magazine fed rifle or Pistol-Caliber Carbine with iron sights, red dot sight or low magnification optical sight. (i.e. AR-15, AK, PCC, etc.) Sights need to be zeroed prior to taking this course.
:	Three (3) or more magazines for your carbine with magazine retention (packets, mag pouches, etc.)
:	Sling on the carbine (Preferably single or two point slings that allow cross body use of the sling)
:	Eye & hearing protection (doubling on hearing protection is recommended which consists of using ear plus and over-the-ear hearing protection)
:	Billed cap highly recommended
:	Ammunition: 250-300 rounds of ammunition for your carbine
